A customer in Vancouver had a mahogany door installed by a previous contractor who used cheap wood stained to match for the trim. It just didn’t look right. At TTP Handymen LLC, I stepped in to correct this by performing a mahogany door trim replacement. I used custom-made sapele, a wood similar to mahogany, to replace the trim. To hide the gap between the trim and door caused by the wall being crooked, I also added some 3/8 quarter round.
